FILM CATALOGUE

If you have chosen to add-on film licensing to your screening, you can choose a film from either catalogue to be licensed in advance of your screening.

We have access to two film catalogues to choose a film from courtesy of Roadshow Distribution & Amalgamated Films.

Search for a favourite film or browse their collections.

We don’t have access to any films that are currently at the big cinemas, however there are many films which have just finished their theatrical run & within a few weeks are often available to screen at Henkel Street.

We do, however, have access to thousands of cinematic gems created over the past 100+ years, all begging to shine again on the big screen where they belong!

If you can’t find a film, send us an email & we may be able to track it down via the film’s distributor. Please note, there may be an extra fee to pay if the licensing fee is higher than usual. We recommend finding a film to screen using either Roadshow or Amalgamated.

When you have made a film choice, you can enter it in the booking form (go to your original confirmation email to do this) or send us an email. hello@henkelstreetcinema.com.au

Please make sure your film is 120 minutes in length or less. If your film has a longer running time, you will need to add-on an extra 15 minutes or 60 minutes when booking. You can also book 2 screenings in a row if you feel like a double feature or are watching a particularly long film. Lots of our guests add-on 15 minutes or 60 minutes so they have time for an intermission or to relax in their private cinema after the film ends or before the film starts.

Film choices get finalised on Wednesdays at 4pm, so please let us know by then if your screening is coming up over the weekend. Generally, we can’t change your film choice after this cut-off time as the film distribution companies require 2 business days notice to secure a license.
